Greg Arnold Greg Arnold (Composer, Music Supervisor) took to the road after college, touring and recording with both Jazz and R&B artists like Harry James, Lionel Hampton, Shannon, The Pointer Sisters, Evelyn Champagne King, Luther Vandross, and Vanessa Williams. His work led to Gold and Platinum records, film scoring projects (including work for Paramount and Orion) and a long list of commercials, many bestowed with Clio and Telly Awards. Greg partnered with producers Lloyd Chrein and Jeff Oppenheim on “Funny Valentine”, writing and recording the score for the film and providing music supervision during the final film edit. The collaboration was so successful and enjoyable that the three vowed to try and work together on as many additional projects as possible.
Jason Basso (producer/video journalist/snow specialist) is an award winning videographer & editor for CNN & News 12. Jason has produced countless news stories for the Anderson Cooper 360 show on CNN, including fires in California, Iraqi war documentaries, & The Planet in Peril documentary. Jason's 7 years in the news & documentary business has rendered him interviews with Hillary Clinton, Gene Wilder, Ari Fleischer , & Jose Feleciano. He has won several Telly's, The Press Club Award, numerous NPPA awards, & has been nominated for an Emmy. Jason also has 23 years of snowboarding experience, which has taken him all over the world. Jason has snowboarded the Alps, Alaska, South America, and the American West, shooting and producing many videos. Jason produced & hosted his own television show called "Jason Basso, Freakend Warrior", which airs on RSN (Resort Sporting Network). He is also in pre-production for a new reality show called "Snowed Inn", where he produces & stars in a show about ski house in Vermont that he has managed for the past 13 years.
Roy Coopervasser (Producer/Post-Production Supervisor) is the co-founder of “Kazumi Lab Inc.” – a multimedia boutique specializing in customized creative solutions including video and film production, music production, web and graphic-design. His professional background is in music and post-production audio. His credits as a music producer and engineer include working with such artists as Emily King, Chris Rob, Maurice Brown, Arturo O’farril, HEAVy, Rogiers, Joseph Webb, Jeremy James and Nate Jones. As a post-production engineer and a film composer his credits include work for BET, NBC, Beat Pirate Films and Discovery Channel. He recently cooperated with Oppenheim producing a short industrial.
Djida Oppenheim (co-producer/events and product coordinator) began her career in France working in advertising and sales/marketing. Now a resident of the U.S., she has been working alongside her husband honing her expertise in producing and coordinating events, fine arts management and product placement for non-profits and the film industry. Past clients/events include: Lincoln Center; The Voices Found Children with AIDS Project’s Annual Benefit; Asa Rydman debut U.S. CD Release Party; Souvenir Pictures--Premiere Screenings; Ivy Cup Charity Polo Match; Haute Couture Charity Fashion Show for AIDS Africa; and numerous visual artist gallery shows, auctions, and receptions. Her most recent producing credit is the documentary French American By Design--a portrait of Franco American Relations over the centuries.
Robert Reitano (Editor) is a veteran film and sound editor who has worked on more than 30 feature films spanning a career of more than 35 years. Films he has edited include "Sleepless in Seattle", "My Blue Heaven", "The Bachelor" and "The Juror". He edited the final cut of "Funny Valentine”.
Law Tarello (writer/actor/musician) a native of Brooklyn, began his collegiate career at Long Island University, CW Post where he was inducted into the National Collegiate Honor Society, Phi Eta Sigma. He also received theatrical accolades in the XVII Annual American Theatre Festival under the direction of Patrick Tucker. Law completed his BA in Theatre Arts at College at Fredonia, SUNY. As a founding member of The Group Studio, he also founded Random Acts--an improv comedy show, co-produced by the Fredonia Opera House. He was a regular at the Annual Chicago Improv Festivals as a featured troupe member, solo performer, and teacher. Law went on to work with Comedy Central’s The Upright Citizens Brigade and later, created an independent theatre company--Vision Theatre with its own 150-seat Hamptons-based theater for which he raised $250,000. As executive producer he wrote, directed, or starred in many of the productions. He studied cinema directing in Avignon, Paris, Amsterdam, Florence, and Rome as part of "script to screen" an intensive MFA degree program through the University of Georgia. Law has been cast in numerous national Television commercials and promos and industrials. In December of 2005, he made his Broadway debut in the Tony-Award winning role of William Barfee in the hit show The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Tamara Trexler and her husband/business partner, Wesley H. Motley III (Co-Producers) are producers located in Nashville, Tennessee. Trexler co-produced and Motley was the associate producer and played a supporting role in the feature film, “Charlie's War” (2003) in a scene with Olympia Dukakis. Other stars included Lynn Redgrave, Diane Ladd and Bobbie Eakes. “Charlie's War” premiered and sold out a record breaking seven screens at the 2003 Nashville Film Festival, hosted by Regal Cinemas. Special guests attending the premiere were Oprah Winfrey and her father, Vernon, who plays a supporting role in “Charlie's War”. National press such as People Magazine, Associated Press, In Touch, US, Country Weekly, Indie Wire and Indie Way covered the event. The premiere was featured on Entertainment Tonight and The Oprah Winfrey Show. Their latest film, “Dear Mr. Cash”, made national filmmaker magazine covers, September 2004, Markee Magazine and April 2004's Production Update, and recently won "Best of the Fest" at the 2005 Sarasota Film Festival. The film played to sold out crowds at the recent 2005 Nashville Film Festival. “Dear Mr. Cash” recently screened at the July 15 "Cash Bash" in Memphis, a tribute to Johnny Cash.
